Mobile Disrupt 2026: A Strong Start to Our U.S. Summer Tour

Our U.S. summer tour is officially underway, and Mobile Disrupt 2026 in Miami was the perfect place to begin.

Bringing together wholesalers, refurbishers, marketplaces, carriers, ITAD providers, and technology companies, the event offered a great opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the challenges shaping the secondary mobile market. Building on the success of previous editions, Mobile Disrupt 2026 welcomed an even stronger turnout of attendees and a packed schedule of meetings, reflecting the continued growth of both the event and the industry. For the NSYS team, it was also a chance to reconnect with partners, meet new companies, and introduce Reeva Nova to a broader U.S. audience.

Conversations That Matter

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity to speak with representatives from across the industry, including two major marketplaces.

A common theme throughout those discussions was the significance of trust, anti-fraud policies, and strict verification. As marketplaces continue expanding their refurbished device categories, maintaining consistent quality across thousands of sellers becomes increasingly challenging. Independent diagnostics and standardized certification help create a more transparent ecosystem, giving marketplaces greater confidence in the devices listed on their platforms while providing professional sellers with objective proof of quality.

Alongside those conversations, another trend stood out. More companies are introducing robotic solutions into different parts of the device lifecycle, reflecting a broader focus on improving efficiency and operational consistency.

One of my biggest takeaways from Mobile Disrupt was seeing how widely robotics is being adopted across the industry. Every company has its own approach, but the common goal is the same: making operations more efficient and more consistent. It's exciting to see that momentum building, and we're proud that Reeva Nova is part of it.

Mobile Disrupt also marked the first public presentation of production-ready Reeva Nova units from our initial manufacturing batch. Visitors were particularly interested in how the system streamlines the entire device evaluation process. Retailers and trade-in operators saw an opportunity to deliver faster, more consistent trade-in experiences, while refurbishers and wholesalers explored ways to scale operations without compromising quality. And although our booth featured robotics alongside several other automation solutions at the event, Reeva Nova easily claimed the title of the most compact robot on the show floor—something that sparked more than a few conversations.

Looking Ahead

Mobile Disrupt was the first of three U.S. events we'll be attending this summer, followed by GSMX Miami and ITAD Summit Las Vegas.

The conversations in Miami confirmed that the secondary device market continues to evolve, with greater attention being paid to automation, transparency, and standardized quality processes. We're looking forward to continuing those discussions and meeting more partners as our U.S. tour continues.
