How to save money on iPhones?

ahorra dinero en iPhones

Tablets, smartphones and other devices produced by Apple are the most wanted and popular gadgets for almost a decade. Who does not dream of owning a latest and greatest Apple product? The major disadvantage is, however, the high price.

But nowadays electronics market features brand new, pre-owned and refurbished devices, the latest two are a great way to save money on iPhones, iPads and other desired devices made by Apple.

So what exactly is "refurbished"? Refurbished means that a device has been fully inspected, tested with a specialized mobile diagnostics software, repaired when necessary, cleaned, reset to factory conditions with a data wipe software where appropriate and item was repackaged. Refurbished devices are meant to work, perform and last as long as brand new devices.

There are two types of refurbished devices: refurbished by manufacturer or refurbished by seller. Manufacturer’s method is a restoration which is carried out directly in the manufacturer’s facility and devices that are refurbished by manufacturer are usually retain and extend original manufacturer’s warranty.

However, some companies prefer not to refurbish their products, but make more room for new devices, for example it is harder and harder to find iPhones, iPads and other devices that were refurbished by Apple.

In this case most of refurbished Apple products are the ones that are refurbished by seller or third party. Their refurbishing process may differ from the one carrier out at the factory, but if the process included full phone diagnostic testing, using high-quality cell phone diagnostic tools for repairs and data erasure with a specialized data wiping software - then a refurbished iPhone or iPad will not be different from a new device except for a price - a refurbished product goes on sale at a significantly reduced cost.
